The gate that refuses
Lawyers keep getting sanctioned for citations that don't exist. CAIRN is architecturally incapable of citing a case that is not in the matter file — it refuses, on the record, with a hash-sealed receipt. And inside the file, it does the work of a tireless second chair: every fact on a witness card carries a verbatim quote, mechanically verified against the record. A pin cite, enforced by a machine.
Exhibit — the witness card
This card was distilled and sealed by CAIRN with a local model at its side — every fact survived character-level quote verification, and the extraction that couldn't produce its quote was dropped and counted. He testified he inspected the shipment March 12. His own March 14 email says the crates were still unopened. CAIRN lays the contradiction out with citations to both.

Ask what the court held in Zenith Corp v. Balfour — a case that exists nowhere in the record. The refusal is arithmetic, and it seals itself.
